 I’m Jaida Simone, a reporter with a genuine passion for storytelling and a deep respect for the truth. For me, every day brings a new opportunity—to ask tough questions, uncover what matters, and give a voice to the voiceless.

I believe journalism is about more than breaking news—it’s about building trust, shining light in dark places, and keeping communities informed, empowered, and connected. From city hall to neighborhood sidewalks, I’m always chasing the story and committed to telling it with integrity, empathy, and accuracy.

Being a reporter isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • Conducted in-depth pre-game and in-game interviews with coaches and players to capture real-time insights.
  • Delivered game highlights in studio and multiple live stand-ups during gameplay with consistency and professionalism.
  • Coordinated with control room staff and camera operators to frame dynamic shots and enhance broadcast quality.

  • Contacted coaches and players and conducted thorough and engaging interviews.
  • Researched teams and their faculty & gathered information on them from statistics to human interest.
  • Organized information from interviews and supplied interesting facts and stories on air to engage the audience during events.
